Los Angeles based producer Chinsaku shares a new boom-bap offering referencing a familiar character, The Pink Panther on the track’s cover art. The track surely carries the mysterious and jazzy tone of the franchise; certainly a sample or shred of inspiration can be heard amongst the gritty percussion. UPDATE: Since writing this article Chinsaku has released a couple more tracks for our listening pleasure. “Hidden Leaf” is a classical sounding head banger that can’t help but express some influence of the late Nujabes. His latest track, “Loss For Words” is honestly a big vibe; mellow guitar sounds, smooth vocals, and an infectious drum pattern that leaves you wanting more.
